As a brief, Sezela Sugar operates as an emerging sugarcane production mill now open to selling directly to the public instead of as a (previous) distributor. As the company's debut face, I chose to reflect on the location of production for this brand as a physical embodiment of its core characteristics.
Sezela is a small village on the coast of tropical KZN. The folliage of palm trees, paper reed, yellow bauhinia, and large-leaved helichrysum sets the scene for Sezela's visual identity: sugar as sweet as paradise. Local and familiar, but still transcendent and crisp enough to entice new consumers straight from the shelf.
